Long thin bottle with no neck.
Verdicchio is a fresh italian wine varietal. This one from Oddbins is lovely with a touch of acid freshness and a bit of nutty body to it.

Bellini

The champagne cocktail perfect for the summer evenings.
Fruity but still very dry. Enjoyed a Bellini in Buxton last night which was excellent!

Put two parts sparkling wine (traditionally prosecco. Its 4.99 a bottle from Threshers at the moment by the way.) 1 part peach juice.
Done!

Pol

This chaps name is Pol Roger. He helped me to a glass of his lovely champagne.
Sparkling wine is lovely in the hot summer weather. I have been really enjoying champagne, Cava and Prosecco in recent weeks!

NZ Wine

I attended the NZ Wine trade tasting in Manchester last week.
New Zealand wine is very fond to me due to the time that we spent there last year.
The tasting was excellent and I must have tried dozens of Sauvignon Blancs.
An excellent Pinot Noir taste tour of the whole country was very innteresting. Also the table was free pour rather than asking for samples so it is more relaxed. Pinot noir really is a grape that soaks up the atmoshpere of where it is planted so the varied regions of NZ produce radically different styles of Pinot Noir. All excellent!
